Coach John Kamau drafts the two new signings into his first eleven as four others make it to the bench

Head coach John Kamau has named his lineup for the 2025/2026 Premier League opening match against Posta Rangers set for Kasarani Annex on Monday starting 4pm East African time.

Kamau has handed two of his eight new signings starting berths while another four make it to the bench.

Kevin Ouru, signed from Posta Rangers, is one of the two debutants and stands between the sticks against his former side. The young goalkeeper proved an integral part in the Mailmen avoiding relegation last season and will be keen to impress.

In the defensive third, Ouru is joined by another new signing Herit Mungai, who will man the left flank. The left back, a Premier League veteran, joined us from FC Talanta.

Ian Omondi and Francis Kayugi start at the heart of defence while Sammy Imbuye lines up at right back.

Brian Ochieng will start in the defensive midfielder role with Mohamed Kilume and Brian Ouru charged with providing balance and creativity.

Captain Elli Asieche will lead the line and will be supported by John Nyawir and Paul Kinyanjui from the flanks. Kinyanjui scored twice against Posta Rangers last season.

The four new signings on the bench are goalkeeper Daniel Odiwuor, midfielder Jacob Onyango and forwards Glenn Odhiambo and Dennis Okoth.
