Attacking midfielder joins on a one-and-a-half-year deal from Shabana

The club can confirm the signing of highly rated attacking midfielder Douglas Mokaya from Shabana FC.
Confident on the ball and with an eye for the spectacular, the left-footed player commits to the club, signing a one-and-a-half-year deal.
Upon signing his deal, Mokaya, who has also played for Kariobangi Sharks, Bidco United and Bandari, said: “I am happy to join the team and to be back in Nairobi, where I have had some tremendous moments in my career. I feel I am home already, and everyone, including the coach, has made me feel very welcome. I have been in contact with Coach Kamau for quite some time now, and he let me know early on that if I wanted a change, he would be ready to take me on board.”
An alumnus of Upper Hill School, Mokaya, becomes our fifth signing of the January transfer window. With three of the four signed ahead of him having already made their debuts, Mokaya will hope that he will follow suit against Posta Rangers this weekend.
As a Slumboy, he links up with goalkeeper Daniel Odiwuor, with whom he shared a dressing room at Bidco United.
