Kibet is the Performance Coach at Mathare United
Mathare United is pleased to confirm that one of its technical bench members has received an invitation to join the Ugandan U-17 boys team that is preparing for the AFCON U-17 CECAFA region qualifying tournament.
Edwin Kibet, our conditioning and performance coach, has been selected by the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) to serve in the same capacity temporarily and will be away from the team for possibly the entirety of November.
Kibet joined Mathare at the start of the 2024/25 season and was John Kamau’s first appointment to his technical panel. The two had previously worked together at Posta Rangers.
