Makwata, Ochieng start in crucial Bandari match
The lads are in Kericho this afternoon on the final day of the 2025/26 Premier League season, where they will play hosts to Bandari FC.
This is a crucial fixture in the race for survival for Muhamed Mchulla’s men, and the team news has been revealed.
Two changes have been made to the team that started against Ulinzi Stars last weekend. John Makwata and Brian Ochieng are back amongst the starters and will take up positions in attack and midfield, respectively.
Makwata joined us from the Dockers in midseason and will be keen for a strong showing in his first match against his former side.
Another player who will be looking to mark the final day with a strong performance is Hillary Kiprotich, the Kericho-born defender, who plays his first PL game in his home town.
A win or a draw in the 3pm kickoff will confirm another PL campaign for the Slumboys.
