Mohammed Kilume replaces Adams Nyambane in midfield

Mathare United are in Premier League action this afternoon and have a crucial test against relegation-strapped Bidco United at the Kasarani Stadium Annexe.

Even though they are doing much better than their visitors, John Kamau’s men aren’t safe themselves and are gunning for maximum points to put further daylight between them and the bottom three.

The team news for today’s early kickoff is out and only one change has been made to the team that drew 0-0 with Police FC in midweek.

Adams Nyambane, who started the game against Police and was unfortunately withdrawn in the second half after a concussion, is replaced in the starting squad by Mohammed Kilume.

After thorough tests, the Nyambane’s injury proved not as serious as initially thought and the midfielder is passed fit for action and makes the substitutes bench.

Kevin Ouru remains between the sticks and will be out to secure a 10th clean sheet for what is turning out to be a stellar season for the young keeper.

John Makwata will lead the line with Musa Masika and Isaac Omweri supporting him from the flanks.

Here is the squad;

Starting XI: K.Ouru (GK), Kiprotich, Nyawir, Omondi, Kayugi, Ochieng (C), Kilume, Masika, Omweri, B.Ouru, Makwata

Subs: Odiwuor (GK), Otieno, Shikutwa, Mukoye, Atano, Nyambane, Kimari, Mokaya, Kinyanjui, Amalemba, Okoth
