The lads will be looking to make it two wins in a row for the first time this season when they head out of the city to Murang’a for a Premier League assignment against Murang’a Seal on Sunday.

John Kamau’s men are coming off a sensational performance in their last outing, hammering league-chasing AFC Leopards 4-1 to record their biggest win under the former Posta Rangers tactician.

John Macharia, who is continuing his rehab from a niggling foot injury, was an unused sub in that game at Nyayo Stadium and believes that his teammates showed the level they can achieve on a continuous basis last weekend.

“Most people were shocked by the result against Leopards, but I wasn’t. I know this team, and I know the quality we have. This is the level, the standard we know we are capable of producing day in, day out. We haven’t been able to, but that is what we aspire to put out with every matchday.

“It was a morale booster, and now we head into the MSeal game with renewed confidence.”

The Slumboys lost the reverse match against Murang’a Seal 2-0 back in January.
