Mathare United takes on Gor Mahia in the late kick-off on Saturday at Nyayo Stadium, and the team news for the Premier League showdown has been revealed.
Four changes have been made to the team that lost against Shabana in midweek.
One of those changes sees Harrison Amalemba earn his full debut for the club. Last year’s Musingu High School graduate will start at the tip of our attack and will be supported by Elli Asieche and Isaac Omweri, the other changes made to our attacking setup.
Amalemba’s high school teammate Benson Shikutwa, who made his full debut against Shabana, keeps his position on the left side of the defence with Fidel Otieno coming in to occupy the right side in the absence of the injured Sammy Imbuye.
John Makwata will miss this game as he is still on compassionate leave.
Below is the squad;
Starting XI: Ouru, Fidel, Shikutwa, Omondi, Kayugi, Ochieng, Ouru, Masika, Amalemba, Asieche, Omweri
Subs: Mboya, Kiprotich, Mukoye, Atano, Mutu, Nyambane, Kimari, Macharia, Mokaya, Kinyanjui, Okoth
