Mathare United plays its first match of 2026 this afternoon by hosting Murang’a Seal on matchday 16 of the Premier League, and the team news for the 3 pm kick-off has been revealed.
New signing Mike Oduor will feature from the start at the Kasarani Stadium Annexe to mark his debut for the club.
Oduor starts in an offensive role on the right side of our attack, which will be spearheaded by Dennis Okoth with Musa Masika on the left wing.
Another new signing, Isaac Omweri, is named on the bench.
John Kamau’s men ended 2025 with a loss, away to Bandari, and will be looking to get back to winning ways and start the new year as they mean to go on.
