Mathare United FC

The budding midfielder is the only change in the first 11

Dennis Ng’ang’a will make his Mathare United debut on Sunday when the Slumboys take on Bandari FC at the Mbaraki Sports Club.

The young midfielder, who joined us at the start of last season, is also earning his first appearance in the Premier League.

He is the only change made to the team that started against Sofapaka last Wednesday and replaces Brian Ochieng, who is out with a thigh injury.

Ng’ang’a, who is deployed at the base of our midfield, partners Brian Ouru in the engine room with Elli Asieche taking up chief creating duties with Dennis Okoth ahead of him and Paul Kinyanjui and Musa Masika on the flanks.

Kevin Ouru remains between the sticks and is out in search of his eighth clean sheet of the campaign to break a four-man tie in the race for the Golden Glove.

Ian Omondi has played every minute for us this term and once again is named in central defence alongside Francis Kayugi, with John Nyawir and Sammy Imbuye protecting from wide.
