Club top scorer Elli Asieche will hope to make an impact off the bench
Mathare United will be in action on Thursday at the Dandora Stadium against Nairobi United, and the team news for the 4 pm kickoff has been revealed.
Three changes have been made to the team that started in the 1-0 loss to Police FC almost two weeks ago, with Dennis Okoth, Mohammed Kilume and Herit Mungai coming into the Starting XI.
This is Okoth’s third start of the season, and he replaces Donald Ange at the tip of our front three.
Kilume is back amongst the starters after starting from the bench in our last two games. The midfielder, who partners with the two Brians, Ouru and Ochieng, in the middle of the pack, was down with illness in our most recent outings and has now fully recovered.
With John Nyawir missing out through injury, Mungai comes in to occupy the left-back role.
