Winger Glenn Odhiambo joins on a season-long deal from Kibra United

Mathare United is delighted to confirm the return of winger Glenn Odhiambo for the 2025/2026 season.
Blessed with a wicked left foot and skills to match, Odhiambo returns to the club for a second spell and becomes our eighth and final signing of the just concluded transfer window.
First signed at the start of the 2023/2024 National Super League season, the Rongai native had a bright start to life as a Slumboy and played over 20 games, becoming an integral part of our promotion back to the Premier League.
Knee injury
A knee injury suffered in the second leg of that campaign, however, curtailed his season, and he would end up leaving in the off-season.
On his return, Odhiambo, who played briefly for Kariobangi Sharks and Kibra United, after leaving the club, said, “I thank the coaches and management for allowing me to return to the club. I view it as a chance to restart my career after the uncertainty that followed my knee injury. I have been welcomed with open arms by those who were here during my first stint, and it’s like I never left.”

By returning to the club, the Orero High School alumnus joins Steve Kimari, Cetric Asango, Meshack Ochieno, Elli Asieche, Paul Kinyanjui, Hillary Kiprotich, Donald Ange, Boaz Maeri and Mohammed Kilume as the only players in the team currently who were part of our promotion campaign.
