Mathare United take on Posta Rangers at Kasarani Annex in season opener on 22 September
Football Kenya federation (FKF) has released the fixture for the top tier league for the upcoming 2025/2026 season.
Mathare United will kick off the 2025/2026 FKF Premier League season with a home game against Posta Rangers on Monday, 22 September at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani Annex, which will be among our home grounds this season.
We won both matches against the Mailmen last season as we finished 10th with 42 points.
Round Two action will take us to the Ulinzi Complex for an away match against KCB on Friday, 26 September at the Ulinzi Sports Complex.
Tusker will then host us at Kasarani Annex on Wednesday, 1 October before the first instalment of the Slum Derby against Kariobangi Sharks at the same venue on Sunday, 5 October.
The league will then take a two-week international break before resuming with Round Five action on Monday, 20 October when we will take on Shabana at Gusii Stadium.
A showdown with the record league champions, Gor Mahia will follow on Saturday, 25 October at Kasarani Stadium. Our meeting with the defending champions Police FC, will not be until Round 10 at the Police Sacco grounds on Monday, 24 November.
At the start of the festive season, we will be away in Mombasa against Bandari just four days before Christmas. The league will then take a short break to allow for the festivities and will resume on the second weekend of January with our first game of the New Year coming up against Muarang’a Seal at home on Saturday, 10 January.
The season will conclude in May with all nine fixtures being played on Saturday, 30.
