Ceedo, as he is affectionately referred to by his peers, becomes our fourth signing of the current transfer window

Mathare United is pleased to announce the signing of goalkeeper Daniel Odiwuor ahead of the 2025/2026 season. The shot-stopper joins the club on a one-year deal from Bidco United.
Ceedo, as he is affectionately referred to by his peers, becomes our fourth signing of the current window.
The Migori Boys alumnus, who is our second acquisition this transfer window from Bidco, becomes the second goalkeeper to join John Kamau’s squad after Kevin Ouru who was signed from Posta Rangers.
On joining the club, Odiwuor said, “Last season, watching and playing against the team, I was impressed with the keepers and how they were performing. They were doing things I longed to do myself, and this was a testament to the coaching. I told myself then that if an opportunity arises for me to join this team, then I will jump at it.”
Apart from Bidco, Odiwuor has also featured for KCB in the topflight league. With the Bankers, the 6ft 1in keeper shared a dressing room with Mohammed Kilume, Brian Ochieng and David Okello, who is now Mathare United’s goalkeepers’ coach.
Odiwuor, who is yet to be capped by Kenya, will battle for a starting spot with Ouru and veteran custodian Robert Mboya.
